ENERGY  

Energy balance in young athletes is vitally important. Learning how to fuel growth, repair and performance safely and while avoiding unhealthy weight gain is key. Sport can be a hugely powerful motivator to improve nutrition. 

MACRONUTRIENTS  

As both a parent and as a young athlete, getting a basic understanding of fats, carbohydrates and proteins is essential. Understand their role in health and training. As well as how they relate to the actual foods you eat.
